
Most people have so much going on in their lives that they are unable to give themselves time to relax and unwind. This intense activity leads to life becoming stressful, which causes increased levels of illness, disease, unhappiness and discontentment. But what if there was a way to find relaxation and joy in each moment of the day, whether we are catching public transport, driving the car, using a computer, sitting in a meeting, eating or walking? Through the technique of mindfulness meditation, relaxation can be found in every moment of daily life.
The focus of the Meditation and Relaxation Course is to provide mindfulness techniques to help people to relax and de-stress. Because different techniques resonate with different people, this Course offers a range of diverse techniques. Participants then choose which ones they enjoy and use these in their daily self practice. The course also provides mindfulness exercises to use throughout each day so that relaxation can be brought into whatever a person is doing. A workbook is included so participants are able to refer to the techniques and exercises they have learnt after the course has finished.

Unlike most meditation groups/courses, this Course will not be about sitting still for an hour. Each week will consist of:

* Bell meditation and breathing relaxation
* A moving meditation
* A guided meditation
